ISO 25556 - Ageing societies — General requirements and guidelines for ageing-inclusive digital economy

ISO/TC 314 WG 6 works towards a standard intended to provide general requirements and guidelines for ageing-inclusive digital economy, from the perspective of the needs of older persons. This document aims to specify the principles, factors, actions and the checklist for establishing or transforming the ageing-inclusive digital economy, excluding the specific information technology, ergonomics, as well as other technical requirements and guidelines. It is aimed to be applicable to policy-makers, providers, organizers, suppliers, operators of ageing-inclusive digital economy and other stakeholders. This document is aimed at enhancing the applicability and credibility of ageing-inclusive digital economy, to protect consumers by preventing ageism and to improve the quality of ageing-inclusive digital economy for all stakeholders.
