In June, NISO held an open teleconference to discuss the ISO TC 46 Plenary meeting that took place in Paris, France, from May 22-26. The meeting involved participants from different countries and time zones who discussed various international projects related to libraries and information. TC 46 is a technical committee under ISO focused on Information and Documentation, covering areas such as libraries, publishing, archives, records management, and more. NISO represents the United States as the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to TC46. During the meeting, five TC 46 Subcommittees held plenary meetings, along with other working and discussion groups. NISO also serves as the Secretariat for SC 9, with Todd Carpenter acting as the SC 9 Committee Manager.
