Following the May 2023 Plenary, the project has progressed to Stage 50.00, signifying the receipt of the Final Draft Text (FDT).

The May 2023 Plenary served as a crucial platform for advancing the project. Substantial progress was made during this session as the project team diligently worked toward the development of a Draft Technical Report. The collaborative efforts of experts and stakeholders have culminated in a comprehensive document that addresses the complexities of records management in structured environments.

The ISO/DTR 8344 Draft Technical Report is designed for a diverse audience, including records managers, IT professionals, application developers, legal and compliance experts, researchers, educators, and individuals with a keen interest in the intersection of records management and structured data environments.
Next Steps:
With the achievement of Stage 50.00, ISO/DTR 8344 is now poised to enter the formal editorial proofing process. Once that is done it will be published.
