ISO/TC 312 held its 7th meeting between 6th and 8th September 2021 virtually. During the meeting there were sessions by two working groups (WG1 and WG2), two Task Group (TG1 – Communication and TG 2 - Strategic Business Plan) and the Plenary.
WG1 – is currently involved with the development of ISO/TS 23686 ”Service excellence - Measuring service excellence performance“. The first draft was revised and comments were discussed during the meeting. The Working Draft will be commented and revised until the next meeting in May.
WG2 – is currently involved with the development of ISO/AWI 7179 -'Service excellence- Practices for achieving service excellence'. WG 2 has compiled practices that meet some of the four dimensions and nine elements in the service excellence model based on the discussion in WG 2.
TG1 – Communication is currently developing communication material in the form of various types of TC 312 – Briefing Notes as well as the content for the ISO/TC 312 microsite. During the meeting the content was presented and a way forward was agreed so that the ISO/TC 312 microsite is progressing to be ready as soon as possible.
TG2- Strategic Business Plan is working on the Strategic Business Plan of TC 312 and is continuously revising and adapting it to the current aims of TC 312.
During the TC 312 Plenary, the Committee Chairperson Prof. Dr Matthias Gouthier, thanked the WG, TG and committee members for their hard work and commitment and that good progress was made for the various projects and activities. He presented the Committee time plan as well as the future work program. The resolutions were discussed and approved unanimously. The 8th Committee meeting will be held in May 2022.
