The objective of the update to this standard is to provide additional guidance, for work breakdown structures for organizations undertaking project, programme management or portfolio management.
A particular focus will be on expanding the use of the work breakdown structure with other tools including enabling development of the schedule and cost estimate.
Currently registered at Enquiry Stage (Stage 40) with consultation of the Draft International Standard (DIS) anticipated to begin by March 2026.
