Recent crises — including the COVID‑19 pandemic, conflicts, and climate‑related shocks — have slowed or reversed gains in many regions. Millions of people still lack access to basic resources, social protection, and secure livelihoods. Accelerated and inclusive action is needed to meet SDG 1 by 2030.
