ISO 19115-5

This document specifies the conceptual mapping from ISO 19115-1:2014 to W3C DCAT and to SEMIC GeoDCAT

This document applies to metadata records (generally with a root of MD_Metadata); these records may be contained within a package defined by ISO 19115 or another standard. This document also applies to metadata elements used as attribution on other data items (such as an ISO 19109 metadata attribute). It is intended to create a DCAT representation that stands independent from the source ISO 19115 record but a subset of the mapping could be used to create a DCAT discovery layer where each record points back to the ISO 19115 record for full information.
