Develops the normative terminology in ISO 9000 and the Glossary - Task Group Leader Chris Cox

• Preforms terminology work for the ISO 9000 family of standards
• Develops and revises ISO 9000 vocabulary
• Manages the Glossary of words for the ISO 9000 family of standards
• Advises ISO/TC 176 WGs on aspects of terminology work or upon identification of a matter requiring discussion through ISO/TC 176/SC  01/TG 02

Consistency of use of concepts, terms and definitions in ISO/TC 176 standards - Convenor Graham Watson

• Liaison work in ISO/TC 176
• Asks text drafting WGs to provide their view about the technical definition of a term
• Passes this information to ISO/TC 176/SC 01/WG 01/TG 02
• Returns proposal for term and definition from ISO/TC 176/SC 01/WG 01/TG 02
• Iterative work till both parties are satisfied

Harmonization of terms and definitions with other bodies - Convenor Carolina Popp

• The objective of WG 03 is to harmonize the vocabulary of ISO/TC176 deliverables with the terminology used in documents developed by other ISO and IEC technical and project committees.
