Like with all organisations the ISO standards work use a lot of acronyms and abbreviations, practical for the initiated, but difficult to understand for someone new to this kind of work. On the ISO web site you can find a good list of most of the commonly used abbreviation in the Glossary (follow this link), but we have added some here missing in that glossary.

FDIS = Final Draft International Standard

TS = Technical Specification
