In late May 2020 ISO along with the Agile Ageing Alliance hosted an international workshop which covered a range of considerations for multi-generational neighbourhoods.
In late May 2020 ISO along with the Agile Ageing Alliance hosted an international workshop which covered a range of considerations for multi-generational neighbourhoods. These considerations included policies ,technology, design for life and the community setting. At the peak over 200 people attended the event which ran the whole day. The input from the event and further efforts from volunteers will lead to a proposal. The content of a proposal is currently being refined to be presented to the UK mirror committee of ISO/TC 314 in September/October.
This work aligns with the strategic considerations of the technical committee and further reports will be highlighted as this work progresses.
