WG 4 starts discussing a technical report, aiming to provide better understanding of ISO/FDIS 25554 (Ageing societies — Guidelines for promoting wellbeing in communities).
ISO/FDIS 25554 provides a framework for promoting and managing wellbeing in communities. The framework describes the elements and processes that are considered effective in promoting wellbeing. This framework is applicable to communities of various sizes, types, and natures, and the description is basic.
Technical Report ISO/AWI TR 25554-2 describes practical examples for promoting wellbeing in communities in accordance with the framework. The combination of ISO/FDIS 25554 and this document intends to support communities in designing the contents of a framework for new initiatives that promote wellbeing as well as in improving already implemented initiatives.
