Smart Manufacturing as an Industrial Standard?
Smart manufacturing is a a broad topic and covers many technologies ranging from big data processing capabilities, industrial connectivity devices and services, and advanced robotics . With such a wide scope industry approach and understanding is varied. Moreover while, from design to production - standards enable interoperability, another question is where do standards and smart manufacturing intersect. This Industry Day is designed to discuss various company's approaches and lead discussions for Industry consensus. Implementations will continue to mature as Smart Manufacturing evolves.
