The 2024 Climate Action Amendment has been applied to the ISO Management System Standards (MSSs) to reflect ISO’s Climate Action commitments. This is a result of the London Declaration by the ISO General Assembly in 2021 on a commitment to achieve the climate agenda by 2050.

This declaration works along with other initiatives like UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Paris Agreement to reduce climate impact.
