ISO/IEC 30105-5:2024 Information technology – IT Enabled Services-Business Process Outsourcing (ITES-BPO) lifecycle processes – Part 5: Guidance
The ISO/IEC 30105 series specifies the lifecycle process requirements performed by the IT enabled business process outsourcing service providers. ISO/IEC 30105-5:2024 contains the guidance on supporting maturity improvement for service providers. It provides guidance on the usage of the core parts of the ISO/IEC 30105 series: ISO/IEC 30105-1, ISO/IEC 30105-2 and ISO/IEC 30105-3.
This document is a revision of ISO/IEC 30105-5:2016. The main changes are listed below:
- introduce the extended parts of the ISO/IEC 30105 series: ISO/IEC TS 30105-6, ISO/IEC TR 30105-7, ISO/IEC 30105-8 and ISO/IEC TS 30105-9;
- replace the term “process risk determination” with “process capability gap determination” throughout the document;
- update process capability gap determination steps.
The revision enables ITES-BPO organizations to better utilize this series of standards for assessment and continuous improvement.
