ISO/IEC 30105-2:2024 Information technology – IT Enabled Services-Business Process Outsourcing (ITES-BPO) lifecycle processes – Part 2: Process assessment model (PAM)
The ISO/IEC 30105 series specifies the lifecycle process requirements performed by the IT enabled business process outsourcing service providers. ISO/IEC 30105-2:2024 specifies the process assessment model (PAM). It contains process definitions of the ITES-BPO lifecycle defined in ISO/IEC 30105-1 and a model suitable for assessing process capability. This document is a revision of ISO/IEC 30105-2:2016. The main changes are listed below:
- make necessary adjustments on assessment indicators, the terms “work product (WP)” and “generic work product (GWP)” have been changed;
- the definitions of process capability levels and process attributes have been aligned to improve consistency with ISO/IEC 33020;
- add the references to ISO/IEC TS 30105-9, which providing an extension to the process assessment model (PAM) for organizations undergoing digital transformation.
The revision provides ITES-BPO organizations with more specific guidance on assessing process capability levels.
