What's happening in SC40/WG2? We are communicating!!! This meeting highlighted our microsite (you are here but did you see all the new articles and our new Myth or Fact? corner?) and our LinkedIn page?
This meeting focused on the communication efforts of WG2, specifically the updates to our microsite and the launch of our LinkedIn page. David Barrow has graciously taken over as the webmaster for WG2 and has been posting various articles (we are looking to have at least two new articles/month). He walked through the microsite, emphasizing the areas where new articles are being placed as well as his communications to WG2 once they are available. The main take-away from the microsite is that folks need to review and communicate these new works within their own networks to get “the word out.” The URL for the microsite is: https://committee.iso.org/home/jtc1sc40. As per a suggestion, we will check on the “mobile” view of the site.
Sandra Whittleston walked us through the LinkedIn page. Currently, we have a very low number of members – please join this group and as new posts are made – a schedule has been made to have posts twice/month – please re-post in your own networks. The URL for this site is: https://www.linkedin.com/groups/12777402/. Many thanks to Sandra and Michelle Major-Goldsmith for taking on the management of this site. Please think about messages/discussions you would want to start or emphasize to get communication going!
Both communication lines will be gathering data and we will be examining that data in London to see the impact of our efforts. Please note: if there is a topic that is important to you, please volunteer to write it up. As long it is service management focused, we will find an outlet for it.
