What we do ?

ISO/TC 5/SC 2 is responsible of drafting standards regarding cast iron pipes and ductile iron pipes, including their fittings and their joints. It covers water and gas applications, for pressure and non-pressure pipelines.

Sub-committee 2 is part of ISO/TC 5 which draft standards in the field of steel and cast iron pipes including their fittings and their joints such as metal fittings, flanges and their joints, metal hoses, hose assemblies and expansion joints, pipe supports, pipe threads and gauges, metallic and organic coatings and protections.

 

24 countries are taking part in the work of SC 2 (in blue on the picture) and 15 countries are following our work as observers (in orange):
