Delegates from Germany, Japan and Republic of Korea attended the meeting.
SC 12 is currently reworking standards on chemical compositions and test methods for soft solder alloys and fluxes with regard to new lead free alloys and automated methods. For example ISO 9455-3 and ISO 9453.
The current term of the Chairman Mr. Jörg Trodler ends in December 2019. Another term of three years is possible. The participants recommended to confirm Mr. Trodler as Chairman.
