Having collected requests for changes over the last years, Mr Uwe EWERT, convenor of ISO/TC 44/SC 5/WG 1 "Radiographic testing of welds", now proposes the revision of the series ISO 17636:2012.

ISO 17636:2012 is composed of 2 parts:
- ISO 17636-1:2012, Non-destructive testing of welds - Radiographic testing - Part 1: X- and gamma-ray techniques with film
- ISO 17636-2:2012, Non-destructive testing of welds - Radiographic testing - Part 2: X- and gamma-ray techniques with digital detectors
ISO/TC 44/SC 5/WG 1 will meet on the 2nd and 3rd of April 2019 Berlin to start the revision of both parts.
