Also, the 2nd systematic review of ISO 14175:2008, Welding consumables -- Gases and gas mixtures for fusion welding and allied processes will be discussed. The 2008 edition introduced changes that resulted in revisions to a number of application standards
ISO/TC 44/SC 3 will have a look on activities in CEN and the recently published revision of EN 13479, Welding consumables. General product standard for filler metals and fluxes for fusion welding of metallic materials, and how this is to implemented as well as updates on REACH, Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals, and how this relates to welding consumables.
