Observation & measurements (O&M) aren't what first comes to mind when thinking about supply chain operations, but they're a critical aspect of cold chain and other processes where environmental conditions or measurable properties are important.
EPCIS (also published as ISO/IEC 19987) is GS1's open standard for sharing information about status, location, and transformations of products and assets with stakeholders along the entire value chain. We've talked about it before (see Webinar 17); in this webinar we'll discuss how EPCIS can convey certain kinds of O&M to support supply chain processes, and what it has to do with TC 347.
