This focus of this standard is for the certification community rather than the FM community and is a guide for auditors and assessors regarding how they certify organizations, in-house or outsourced, in compliance with ISO 41001:2018 Facility management -- Management system -- Requirements with guidance for use.
This now means that organisations worldwide can be accredited as being compliant with ISO 41001. This represents a significant step forward in the recognition of FM and one that can now enable corporate and government organizations worldwide to ensure their FM partners are credible and operate to a robust, systems approach for FM service delivery and a commitment to continual improvement.
