ISO 41014 for the development of a facility management strategy has been published and is now available on the ISO website
In these challenging times, it has never been so vital for organizations, both public and private sector, to have an appropriate FM strategy in place. This is exactly what this new ISO 41000 series standard is intended to enable you to accomplish.
The ISO 41014 standard is aimed at organizations who want to establish a FM strategy for the first time or test an existing strategy against an international standard and improve. ISO 41014 recognizes that it is mission critical that your FM strategy fully supports the core business and actual needs objectives. The standard follows a framework approach towards understanding the needs of an organization, translating these needs into FM requirements and developing the FM strategy. This standard complements ISO 41001, which specifies the requirements for a Facility Management system, by providing practical guidance for its implementation.
Thank you to all the Working Group 4 members for their incredible voluntary contribution towards developing meaningful high quality standards just when we need them most.
