Leon Paniagua

It is with great sadness that we need to advise you that León Paniagua passed away peacefully while with his family on September 1, 2022. He was an expert representing liaison member INLAC in TC 176 and SC 2, and it is a great loss for the INLAC community and for our work in the TC 176.

León begun his participation in TC 176 in an SC2 meeting held in January 1999 in Colima, México, and his first TC 176 plenary meeting was in San Francisco, USA, later that year. Since then, León has constantly participated in TC 176 plenaries and related activities.

His main contribution was through his work for TC 176/TG 1 "Communication and Product Support” since its origins in SC 2. 

His lovely smile, positive and charming attitude, and willingness to serve were his main virtues.
