ISO/TC 176 Quality management and quality assurance held its 40th Committee Plenary in Kigali, Rwanda. The meeting was opened by the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Rwanda Richard Niwenshuti, the Head of ISO standards development José Alcorta, the Director General of the Rwanda Standards Board Raymond Murenzi, and the Chair of ISO/TC 176, Jeffrey Hunt.
Over 5 days, the member bodies of the technical committee met to discuss issues affecting ISO/TC 176. Each subcommittee within TC 176 also met to discuss progress and development of standards.
The meeting was held in a hybrid format, either in-person or online, maximizing participation by members bodies.
