20th Anniversary of ISO 9001 Auditing Practices Group

This year we will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of ISO 9001 Auditing Practices Group who had its first meeting on February 23, 2003, with the aim to provide informational support to QMS auditors, consultants and quality practitioners. His members are recognized ISO/TC 176 audit experts from around the world, as well as nominated experts from IAF and ISO/CASCO, working on a volunteer basis. The group was established along with the Accreditation Auditing Practices Group (AAPG). During its work, more than 50 papers have been published containing useful explanations regarding almost all aspects of the audit of quality management systems. These documents have been well received by the professional community. Today the APG team, a blend of founding members and newer participants is confidently looking forward, gathering global information on  new needs and challenges, developing papers dedicated to the use of digital technologies, looking at other modern approaches to the audit process, while at the same time updating the existing papers for their continued relevance.
