COPOLCO undertakes a range of activities to promote and encourage consumer interests in standards.
We decide on the most effective areas of focus for consumer participation in standards. These Key areas are defined annually and reported on in our Key areas Annual Report.
They both are available here.
COPOLCO members are ISO members. See the full list of ISO members that participate in COPOLCO and what they do in their countries.
COPOLCO offers a range of training and events including an annual workshop for consumers, public authorities, manufacturers and standardization experts.
Check out the materials from our train the trainer course, and test your knowledge with the quizzes in our distance learning module Consumers and Standards: Partnership for a better world.
ISO also runs regular workshops and training for national standards bodies to improve stakeholder engagement, including consumers. For more information contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
