Alexandre Kech is Director, Blockchain & Digital Assets at Citi Ventures Studio. Alex‘s team researches, engages and experiments on emerging use cases for blockchain technologies and digital assets. Over the past 25 years, Alex has constructed a unique career combining finance at BNY Mellon, payments/securities infrastructure and standards (ISO 15022/20222) at SWIFT, and blockchain and digital assets at Onchain Custodian. As CEO of the Singapore-based company he co-founded, he led the building from scratch of a custody and prime brokerage service for crypto and other digital assets. Alex is also involved in industry initiatives. He is the convenor of the ISO TC68/SC8/WG3 which produced the ISO 24165 Digital Token Identifier (DTI). In that capacity, he is a member of the DTI Foundation Product Advisory Committee. He is also the convenor of the ISO TC68/SC8/SG5 charged to assess the need for an IBAN-like digital wallet ISO standard. He also recently served as co-chair of the Global Digital Finance (gdf.io) custody working group.
Denis Dounaev is Digital Token Identifier Product Owner at Disruptive Technologies Innovation Fund (DTIF). Denis has developed a deep understanding of the technologies used in the financial industry over the last twenty years. Throughout that time, Denis led projects dealing with significant changes in regulatory frameworks and the rise of new technologies which provided both challenges and opportunities to the industry. Denis has headed the introduction of technology solutions for MiFID II regulation and implemented AML monitoring solutions. More recently, Denis oversaw the implementation of the ISO 24165 Digital Token Identifier (DTIC) standard, expanding his knowledge of crypto markets and their uses within finance. Denis has a background in leading support and development teams in markets technology, including in algorithmic trading and data analytics.

Title: "Update on the vLEI"
Speaker: Karla McKenna, Head of Standards, Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) and Managing Director, GLEIF Americas
Karla McKenna is an international standards specialist in the area of financial services. Ms. McKenna is the Head of Standards for the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) for which she is responsible for facilitating the development and implementation of GLEIF standards and leveraging international standards from organizations such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to maximize data quality and the operational integrity of the Global LEI System. Ms. McKenna also is Managing Director, GLEIF Americas.
Ms. McKenna chaired ISO Technical Committee 68 (ISO/TC 68), Financial services, from 2006 to 2018 and continues work with the committee in the areas of standards interoperability, regulatory use of international standards as convenor of the TC 68 Standards Advisory Group, and best practices for financial services standards as convenor of the TC 68 Standards Best Practices Advisory Group.
Ms. McKenna currently serves on the Board of XBRL International and is a member of the inaugural Board of the Eurofiling Foundation. Ms. McKenna is Immediate Past Chair of the Securities Market Practice Group (SMPG) and also has served on the Boards of the International Securities Association for Institutional Trade Communication (ISITC) and the Accredited Standards Committee X9 (ASC X9).
