ISO 22000 - WG 8 Meeting Highlights – May 6, 2025 (Virtual)
Our recent WG 8 meeting was all about tying up the loose ends from Lima and finalizing the draft for CD consultation ahead of our November gathering in Paris.
Torben Lyster-Clausen kicked things off with a warm welcome, and from there, the group rolled up their sleeves and got to work. By the end of the session, we had a solid draft ready to go, and the CD consultation officially launched.
No new action items came out of this meeting — just a lot of collaboration and great progress.
Afterward, WG experts received the draft from their NSBs, along with national deadlines. The CD consultation ran for 12 weeks, giving National Bodies plenty of time to review and weigh in on the next evolution of ISO 22000.
