On June 24-26 Danish Standards and UNFPA hosted the 4th ISO/TC 338 plenary meeting in Copenhagen.
About 50 experts from all over the world, driving the development of global standards for menstrual products, participated in the meetings.
ISO/TC 338 is actively working towards engaging LMIC participation to make sure that their voices are heard and enabling LMIC participation. In conjunction to the meeting, committee members were invited to a training on writing standards.
The second day of the plenary held at UNFPA, a number of presentations were given by members: Sustainability, human health and social criteria for menstrual products, introduction to single use menstrual products, experiences from the field etc.
