The strength of our work comes from convening experts from diverse financial and geographic backgrounds. Experience and practitioners in a wide range of fields are welcomed.

Standards don't just happen; they are created and developed by the people who need them – that could mean you.

National standards bodies

Technical committees bring together experts from across industry and standardization bodies, all working collaboratively to define best practice and drive progress. These experts are primarily nominated by ISO’s national member bodies and play a direct role in shaping the future of their fields.

External liaison organizations

ISO processes also allow for qualifying external organizations that meet ISO's criteria to be involved and to appoint liaison representatives as experts.

The criteria for liaison organizations to be involved in ISO's work are:

  • be not for profit
  • be a legal entity — the office of the CEO will request a copy of its statutes
  • membership-based and open to members worldwide or over a broad region
  • demonstrate that it has the competence and expertise to contribute to the development of International Standards or the authority to promote their implementation, and
  • have a process for stakeholder engagement and consensus decision-making to develop the input it provides.

ISO liaison committees

A key aspect of the committee's work is to ensure alignment and consistency of standards across the whole ISO portfolio. With this in mind, TC322 has established internal liaisons with other ISO technical committees which can be represented in TC322, such as ISO/TC 68 Financial services, ISO/TC 207 Environmental management, ISO/TC 251 Asset management, ISO/TC 307 Blockchain and distributed ledger technologies.

Commenting on Enquiry Drafts

Enquiry Drafts are made available by some national member bodies for consultation among a broader set of stakeholders outside the immediate ISO community, including via public commenting tools. For more information, you can also contact your your national member body.
