ISO PC283 WG1 met n Klaipeda, Lithuania, to continue its review of the comment received on ISO/DIS 45001. It did not complete its task and has called another meeting.
ISO PC283 WG1 met during 30 October to 4th November in Klaipeda, Lithuania, to continue its review of the (nearly) 3000 comments that had been received against ISO/DIS 45001. It used the draft from its September WG1 TG8 meeting as a key source document in this process. Good progress was made on the "requirements" clauses (1 to 10); however some items and the guidance Annex A in the draft remained unresolved. Consequently the WG has decided to call a further meeting in February 2017 to complete its task in preparing a second Draft International Standard (DIS) text. The WG is extremely grateful to the Certification Association "Russian Register" Lithuanian Branch Office for having hosted its meeting and for the superb facilities and hospitality provided.
