PC283 WG1 met in February 2017 and successfully completed the preparation of ISO DIS 45001.2.
PC283 WG1 met in Vienna, Austria, during 6 to 10 February 2017. It successfully completed its review of the 1000 (out of nearly 3000) outstanding comments received on ISO DIS 45001, and completed its preparations of ISO DIS 45001.2. The text from the WG will now be sent forward for editing, before the draft is released to ISO's national standards bodies for 2 months to enable them to prepare national translations, prior to the ballot of the second Draft International Standard (DIS) starting. As this will be the second DIS, the ballot period is reduced to 9 weeks, compared to the 12 week period for a first DIS. WG1 is extremely grateful to AUVA (Allgemeine Unfallversicherungsanstalt - the Austrian Workers' Compensation Board) for having hosted the meeting at its head office in Vienna, for the superb facilities provided and for their hospitality.
