The second Committee Draft of ISO 45001 has been approved to move forward to the next key development stage of Draft International Standard (or DIS)
This is a key milestone in the development of a standard, but is not a step that is completed automatically. Firstly all the comments received with the ballot on the CD2 text (nearly 2500 of them) have to be reviewed and the text amended, then it has to be edited and translated, before the DIS can be issued. It does however mean that the standard is still currently on track to be published as targeted, in late 2016.
