ISO has completed the publication of ISO 45001 and the standard is now available.
After many years of discussions concerning a standard on occupational health and safety management systems (ISO first held a workshop to discuss this issue in 1996), an International Standard on this topic has now been published.
It is hoped that this standard will enable the promulgation of good OH&S practices around the world, leading to a reduction in the number of accidents, injuries and illnesses to workers.
