The Technical Committee and its Working Groups and Task Groups met in Dallas in March 2018 to continue their work on the ongoing development and maintenance of ISO 45001:2018 and supporting standards and guidance. 32 countries and over 80 delegates were involved in work around implementation of ISO 45001, psychological health and safety and many other issues.
The Chair, Martin Cottam, opened the meeting welcoming colleagues from around the world and introducing our generous hosts for the week, ISN and ASSP. ISN’s Senior Vice President Dag Yemenou (left) and Senior Director of Safety and Security, Richard Cerenzio, welcomed the committee to ISN headquarters. The Chair’s opening remarks focussed on the committee’s drive to maximise the impact of ISO 45001 and related materials, to help reduce global occupational fatality, injury and illness rates.
