The ISO 80369, Small-bore connectors for liquids and gases in healthcare applications series of standards was developed by ISO/TC 210-IEC/SC 62D/JWG4 in response to an international health concern. The purpose of the standards is to decrease tubing misconnections and increase patient safety.
