ISO/TC 176/SC 2 has started the revision of ISO TS 9002:2016 “Quality management systems — Guidelines for the application of ISO 9001:2015”
A new working group (WG 30) has been established for this project and the first meeting was held in May 2025.
The technical specification (TS) will be converted into a full international standard and updated with the changes introduced during the revision of ISO 9001. The project timeline is 24 months with the expected publication date in early 2027 to follow closely after the publication of the revised ISO 9001. The next meeting of WG 30 is scheduled in June 2025 to develop the working draft (WD).
