The Draft International Standard (ISO/DIS 9002) has been approved, with 99% approval, following the close of the public comment period on 8 September 2026.
The working group responsible for the revision, Working Group 30 (WG30) met in person in London from 13 to 16 October 2026 to review the comments received and prepare the draft for the next stage of its development, Final Draft International Standard (FDIS). Its next meeting will be held virtually on 30 October 2026, with further meetings planned over the coming months to continue this work.
