ISO 9002 Revision: Latest Progress Update
Work on the revision of ISO 9002 continues to move forward in line with the agreed development process. The project has now completed its second iteration of the Working Draft (WD).
The consultation period closed on 10 February 2026, and the comments received will be reviewed during the upcoming meetings of WG 30, with the next meeting scheduled for 16 February 2026. These discussions will focus on resolving comments and refining the draft to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with the requirements in the revised ISO 9001.
Following this stage, the work will progress toward the development of the Draft International Standard (DIS) which is expected to be released for public comment in the coming months.
