The seventeenth meeting of ISO/TC 176/SC 2/WG 29 was held via Zoom on 20 May 2025, from 07:00 to 10:00 UTC, with 48 participants, including representatives from 27 national standards bodies and 8 liaison organizations.
An update on actions since the last meeting included a reminder that the project timeline shared in September 2024 remains unchanged, with the expectation that the Draft International Standard (DIS) will be issued for public consultation within the next few months.
The group successfully completed resolution of comments on Clause 10 and started resolution of comments on Clause 8.5.
Potential changes to Harmonized Structure text relevant to all Management System Standards have now all been identified and a report prepared for submission to SC2 members for approval, in line with TMB resolution 16/2025. Justifications for these changes have been developed to support understanding of the need for these changes.
Two additional meetings have been scheduled, and it was advised that Annex A will now be discussed at the meeting on 5th June 2025.
