ISO 9001 Update
The systematic review of ISO 9001 which was undertaken in 2020 voting results showed that the majority of member bodies wanted to confirm the standard. As such, no revision to ISO 9001 has yet been agreed or started.
Following the voting, the committee noted that a sizable portion of member bodies had voted to revise the standard and there is currently a project underway to understand what any future revision might look like. Of course, this does not mean that a revision has been or will be agreed to and the committee is simply looking to understand how in the future this could potentially be addressed.
