The host of the meeting is Purdue University under the leadership of Professor Nathan Hartman. Professor Hartman is the convener of working group number 16 (WG16) of ISO/TC 10 and is responsible for the development and updating of the standard ISO 16792 which deals with rules for the presentation of product definition data in 3D environments, i.e. Computer Aided (CAx) systems. ISO/TC 10 is very grateful for all the assistance professor Hartman has provided in order to set up a successful meeting venue at Purdue University. We all look forward to many eventful and productive meeting days here in West Lafayette and the environment here on campus and the meeting facilities inspire us all.
Welcome to Purdue University and to West Lafayette for this year's ISO/TC 10 plenary meetings series!
