ISO/TC 10 SC1 Basic convensions plenary meeting (Morning session)

This was the 37:th plenary meeting of SC1 and we managed to meet and agree on a total of 14 resolutions.  

ISO/TC 10 Plenary meeting (Afternoon session)

This was the 40:th plenary meeting of ISO/TC10 and we managed to meet and agree on a total of 38 resolutions.

ISO/TC 10 SC1 Basic convensions plenary meeting (Morning session)

This was the 37:th plenary meeting of SC1 and we managed to meet and agree on a total of 14 resolutions.  The scope of SC1 is standardization of basic conventions for representation and data management of technical product documentation.
ISO/TC 10/SC1 resolved to create a revision project (activating the PWI) for ISO 7083 TPD Graphical Symbols with Joint Project Leaders for the work. The Scope of ISO 7083 remains unchanged. The work will be developed under the 36 month track.
Report was given from SC1 JWG12, TPD and GPS harmonization. SC1 noted that JWG12’s first two work items – ISO 7499 and ISO 7533 – are currently being prepared for their FDIS ballots. In addition, a third work item is now also on the work programme, ISO 20223. The document is currently being prepared for its DIS ballot.

 

ISO/TC 10 Plenary meeting (Afternoon session)

This was the 40:th plenary meeting of ISO/TC10 and we managed to meet and agree on a total of 38 resolutions. One of many important resolutions was the acknowledgement of our host of this years meeting series. ISO/TC 10 expressed its hearty thanks to Purdue University for hosting the ISO/TC 10 meetings and for the kind and effective assistance throughout the meetings.
Special thanks were recorded to Prof Nate Hartman (USA, Purdue University) and the team at Purdue for all of the dedicated work, arrangements, and assistance provided before and throughout the meeting series. ISO/TC 10 was delighted to have been able to travel to West Lafayette, Indiana, USA for the meeting.
Next year the ISO/TC 10 plenary meeting series will be held in the mid of May 2025 in Chengdu, China. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the IEC/TC 3 meeting series.
