The meetings will be held at the Charming Yard Nature Nook Hotel (CYNN Hotel) in Cheng Du, China, from May 12 to May 20, 2025.
This year, the first working week will run in parallel with our “sister committee” within the IEC, the International Electrotechnical Commission. IEC/TC 3 is the committee that, like us, focuses on documentation, graphical symbols, and representations of technical information. This presents a valuable opportunity to meet and network with our colleagues in IEC/TC 3. Within ISO/TC 10, we all eagerly anticipate this collaboration and see it as a great step towards closer cooperation.
We have prepared a solid program for this meeting series and will also dedicate ample time to discussing the future direction and roadmap for the continued development of our esteemed committee. On a personal note, I would like to share that this year's meeting will be my last as the current chair of ISO/TC 10. Please join me in warmly welcoming Mr. Christian Eriksson, our incoming chairperson, who will officially assume the role at this year's ISO/TC 10 plenary meeting series.
Finally, ISO/TC 10 extends heartfelt thanks to our Chinese colleagues and friends who have graciously invited us to Cheng Du for this year's meeting series. We are deeply appreciative of the excellent planning and choice of venue.
