XSLT being removed from browsers
Google and Microsoft have announced that they will remove the XSLT software from their Chrome and Edge web browsers at the end of November 2026.
They have started adding a warning notice at the top of web pages such as the data set for ISO 1750:2023.
Customers who have purchased ISO 1750:2023 do not need to worry.
XSLT is used to display the ISO 1750 XML data as formatted web pages. The ISO 1750 Maintenance Agency has identified a few alternative ways to display the XML data to customers. We are in the process of deciding which method to use.
Customers will not need to take any action. The link in Clause 4.1 of ISO 1750:2023 will continue to work.
