Provisionally-approved ISO common name
New common name provisionally approved on 10th April 2026 for an isoxazoline insecticide from Shandong Kangqiao Bio-Technology. The Chinese name is 丙氨氟虫胺.

The commercial product may contain up to 15% of the (5R,2R)-, (5R,2S)- and (5S,2S)-isomers.
If you wish to file an objection, for example because you consider that the name “isoxalanam” infringes on one of your company’s trademarks, please contact the Maintenance Agency no later than 10th October 2026. If no objections are received, then the name “isoxalanam” will become approved and will be included in a new edition of ISO 1750 that will include preferred names as well as common names.
