Approved ISO common name
New common name approved on 12th April 2026 for a fungicide from Syngenta Crop Protection AG.
N-methoxy-N-[[4-[5-(trifluoromethyl)-1,2,4-oxadiazol-3-yl]phenyl]methyl]cyclopropanecarboxamide; [2093177-34-3]
The name “cyprometoxazam” was provisionally approved on 12th October 2025 and no objections have been received. The name “cyprometoxazam” has therefore become approved, and it will be included in a new edition of ISO 1750 that will include preferred names as well as common names.
