The ISO/TC67 Management committee together with key liaison partners held a successful meeting in Brussels in March. The ISO/TC67 Management committee together with key liaison partners held a successful meeting in Brussels in March. Highlights of the discussions included; confirmation of strategic business plan objectives within the context of the committee’s vision of “international standards used locally worldwide”, analysis of standards development performance, the positive outputs from associated communications and upstream methane standards workshops and preparations for the 2025 plenary meeting to be held in Geoje, South Korea in October,
Philip Smedley, Chair ISO/TC67, when closing the meeting commended the meeting participants for their positive contributions, recognising the excellent progress in standards publication and stressed the importance of ongoing collaboration to deliver the committee’s strategic plan objectives within the context of the rapidly evolving transition to lower carbon energy.
