Working on biodegradability of plastics
ISO/TC61/SC5/WG22 is a group of ISO experts working on biodegradability of plastics. So far, successful meetings have been held for 23 years since the creation of the working group in 1993.
Dr. Hideo Sawada has been the Convenor of ISO/TC61/SC5/WG22 since its creation and after 22 years with WG22, he finally retired in July 2015. He retraces the history of the working group and highlights the major achievements.
